About the Barracudas

The Barracudas are a competitive summer swim and dive team with swimmers ranging in age from 5 through 18. They are members of the DuPage Swim and Dive Conference which consists of 12 park district swim teams located throughout DuPage County. Practices are divided up according to the swimmer's age and ability. Each age group has their own coach(es) and are supervised by a head coach.

Although the team is a Bloomingdale Park District program, the team is run in large part through the help of parent volunteers. Parents are required to volunteer to assist at swim meets. Parent volunteers are the only way to help keep the costs of the swim and dive team as minimal as possible. The Barracudas appreciate all of their dedicated volunteers!
